Guitarist Joe Petrucelli and drummer Hank Shteamer formed Stay Fucked in 2002. Since then, the pair has worked with a series of bass players to write concise, intricate compositions drawing on elements of punk, prog, metal and jazz. Stay Fucked has performed extensively in New York City and surrounding areas; in the summer of 2006, the band undertook a self-booked tour of the northeast and midwest U.S. They've performed with many notable artists in the metal and avant-rock genres, including the Fucking Champs, Mick Barr of Orthrelm, Dysrhythmia, Behold... the Arctopus, Time of Orchids, Good for Cows, Massimo Pupillo of Zu, Child Abuse and Aa. Stay Fucked has released a split CD-R with Brooklyn duo Archaeopteryx via the respected indie label I and Ear, as well as two DIY EPs. Currently working with bassist Tony Gedrich (Mick Barr, Archaeopteryx, Extra Life), the band will tour the country in late '07 and release a new EP on Unfun Records.

"Windpipe" contains the heaviest, most intricate Stay Fucked recordings to date. Starting out in 2002 as a quirky progressive-punk unit, the group has evolved into a furiously intense and utterly unique modern math-rock trio. Containing the band's first recordings with new bassist Tony Gedrich, "Windpipe" reveals a new complexity and catchiness. The EP's striking guitar work, angular rhythms and ferocious energy will appeal to any fan of aggressive, forward-thinking rock.
